Prior to taking the bench Jamie Guerra Dickler worked for our community as a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney. Her work helped promote safety in our neighborhoods while also helping protect the most vulnerable members of our community, including victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. She also worked to ensure everyone, including defendants, were treated fairly. 

Jamie has been giving back to the community through her involvement with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chicago. She has been matched with the same little sister since 2015 and enjoys helping her experience all that Chicago has to offer. She also serves on the Junior Board for The Chicago Lighthouse. 

Jamie graduated from University of Wisconsin and DePaul University College of Law.
