Illinois Latino Judges Association

The Illinois Latino Judges Association was created to engage in activities to improve the law, the legal system and the administration of law.

ILJA Mission

Founded in 2018, our association seeks to support and promote Latinos within the legal community. Members seek to encourage Latinos through mentorship and to inspire and guide the future generation of law students. We strive to reach back and pull people up and help overcome barriers to the legal profession. We strive for more representation across all court levels, state and federal, to ensure the bench reflects the diverse community we serve.
